Here’s a brief snapshot of life lately from my iPhone’s perspective…
My wonderful husband surprised me a few weeks back with these beautiful tulips “just because”. Those are the best…tulips and “just because” things.
Australian winters produce some of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen. It seems like there is a beautiful one every night.
Mr. Ollie turned one a little over a week ago, and this was him just before that passing out his birthday invitations. :)
#ashtag – I can’t take credit for this one, but I love it. I taught on our new staff training school a couple weeks ago, and they had been coming up with hashtags for each of the teachers. This was mine, and I thought it was brilliant. ::hashtag ashtag::
I’ve been working on my latte art…
It’s a little blurry, but it’s been an ongoing joke with David, our base director, about trying to get a photo of him with his glasses on. He’s pretty hilarious about them :)
A huge season for our base began about two weeks ago – our annual Fundraiser campaign! This year, the theme is Limitless. This is always a full season for me every year with my role, but it’s always so encouraging to see all that God does. Check out our latest videos and updates here.
One of my best friends and her beautiful daughter at our banquet last week. Jess and I have been in the Director’s Office planning these banquets together for the past three years, and although we didn’t get our traditional banquet photo, I am pretty sure this more than makes up for it! Lilly is wearing her very own Limitless t-shirt :)
The night after the banquet, we had a big celebration together as a community. We celebrated the banquet and launch of the campaign, as well as our recent news about receiving Occupancy for the warehouse! Pizza + cake = celebration!
I saw this beautiful rainbow above our warehouse while walking to work, and I just felt such peace and gratitude as I saw its position over the warehouse. I felt God showed me his promise for us. He is so faithful!
Robbie and I went on a spontaneous double date night with Stu and Kate last weekend to see a play in town. The play was Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice. They modernised this rendition of the classic, and it was quite hilarious! A fun date night indeed!
Jaso, Emily and Ollie at Ollie’s first birthday party! I love this family so much, and the party Jaso and Emily planned for Ollie was so much fun!
I’ll finish with this one I took the other day of the adorable Lilly! I put the book in her hands, and it was so funny the way she held it and concentrated so hard. She’s such a cutie!
